We dedicate this newsletter to thank you, all of you, who have participated in the chit series launched by chandra lakshmi during the last year. As we come to a close of this financial year we have the satisfaction of your cooperation in doing a record business turnover and large number of chit groups during this period.

A number of politico-socio-economic events have occupied our mind spaces in the past few weeks. For residents of Delhi, the decision of the judiciary to shift the manufactruring units that cause pollution, has been a major concern. This is a step that will require a major reconstruction of businesses over the next one-year. Chandra lakshmi has been witness to this correction in almost three dozen such units.




Events

These units have been associated with us for large number of years and enjoy our total confidence. Many of these had to draw their chits to pay for the plots allotted by DSIDC as an alternative to this shifting. Chandra lakshmi has taken every possible step to make these people comfortable within the limits of the financial commitments that these units had with us. Chits are meant to be contingency reserves and buffer funds for such is an important insurance as realised by all these people.
