Chandra Lakshmi has been in existence for 45 years. Not only are we connected to our earliest subscribers for over 4 decades, we have had exceptional employee relations as well. We believe in fostering talent and growth as part of our culture.
In thinking so, we organised a casual employee offsite for all of our staff and their families. We all set out in a bus on a fine Saturday morning. Owing to the rainy season, we had an cooler than usual morning. Luckily, the entire time we were out and about, the skies remained clear.
At first we went to ISCKON temple, East of Kailash, where we experienced their light and sound museum show and hosted their grandest Aarti, called the Raj Bhog Aarti. Subsequently, we had a 'Satvik' lunch at Gopala, the temple restaurant. From there we proceeded to our destination, a 5 star hotel on the outskirts of Delhi.
At the hotel, we gathered together, with our families, at a banquet venue to play games, show talent, win prizes and lot more fun. We celebrated the evening by cutting cake for our 45th year. We also celebrated the birthday of Yuvaan Valecha, son to Aastha Bhambhani Valecha. We made a jolly evening of fun and frolic.
By the time the sun fell, it had started to rain lightly outside. We moved to the dining hall, where we enjoyed a wide variety of cuisines and dishes. Hot food in a chilled restaurant made us feel warm and happy inside.
In the morning, we had a separate area designated for breakfast. We had a quiet and wholesome meal together, without interruption from other guests. Thereon, only the staff members moved to another banquet for team building exercises and a motivational session hosted by Aastha Bhambhani Valecha.
We all shared a hamper of food goodies on the bus ride to the hotel and back. It was an enjoyable stay, getting to know each other's families in a casual setup. The hotel rooms and venues were very spacious and comfortable.
